Job transition doesn’t have to be debilitating…in fact, job transition can be a positive, life changing adventure with the right support and tools. You’ll meet amazing people along the way, learn about new resources you’ve never heard of, gain new skills and even land in a new role that’s better than your last one and that pays more too! We’ve seen it happen more times than we can count. We frequently hear from our clients that job transition was the biggest “blessing” even though they couldn’t have imagined it at the beginning of the process.

Many of our clients are looking for a career change and need a coach who knows what it takes to make a change – someone who is skilled in leading people through the self-discovery process.
As the saying goes, we’ve “been there, done that”. Natalie Ackerman made a successful career change as a result of a corporate downsizing and it was the best thing that happened to her. In her previous role, she was mis-employed, not using her natural strengths and unhappy. She went through an exhaustive self-discovery process which ultimately led her to start Cornerstone Career Consulting. In her current role, she leverages her diverse corporate and entreprenuerial background and her strengths are able to flourish. She “plorks” every day – Plays + Works.
Natalie uses a strengths-based approach to job transition. Each coaching engagement starts with a deep-dive analysis of an individual’s top StrengthsFinderTM talent themes. From there, she customizes each coaching engagement to meet the needs of the individual client.
